Loki Season 2 began streaming on October 5 and has been a source of constant delight and intrigue, with its multifaceted MCU appeal and mytho-scientific charm. Each episode has simply been a credit to the series so far, with episode 3 being nothing otherwise.

The episode begins with Ravonna’s first appearance in the season. Revealed later, to be a mission temporally manipulated to happen to ensure the rise of Victor Timely, a genius-cum-swindler, Renslayer is set to come across some harsh truths in this episode. From the betrayal of Timely to the potential AI romance, the episode is full of charming and quirky twists.

The main attraction of the episode is locating the multiversal Kang variant, last seen in the post-credit scenes of Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania, Victor Timely. Played by Jonathan Majors, He Who Remains had simply nodded to the character of Kang in Loki Season 1, saying he had previously been called “a conqueror.”

What is Episode 3 all about?

In the latest episode, Loki and Mobius end up in the renowned World’s Fair in 1893, in order to locate Renslayer and Miss Minutes. Over there, Loki’s face curdles upon viewing the astonishing scientific feats of Victor Timely, for the latter is the spitting image of He Who Remains. The rest of the episode is spent by the TVA duo attempting to catch up with the temporal prodigy (Majors) in order to tame the Sacred Timeline’s chaos, and find a solution for the Temporal Loom problem.

However, things rarely go according to the plan, especially when Sylvie is also thrown into the mix. Perhaps, even Time can only handle one Loki at a time! The episode ends with Sylvie letting Renslayer through a time door to the End of Time, where lies the dead body of He Who Remains and difficult revelations. Whether it was a good decision, is yet to be seen.
