Actress Ditipriya Roy is mostly seen with her mother at parties, shootings, and meetings. On Mother’s Day, the Dakghor-actress talked about her connection with her mother.

In an interview, she said, “Everything said about mothers becomes insufficient. My mother is my backbone, my best friend, everything to me. She bears my mood swing and attitudes. She tolerates me. She has been doing this for my 21 years of life. Hence, anything I say about my mom seems inadequate.”

Ditipriya also admitted that for her, every day is Mother’s Day. “Not only May 14, but every day is also Mother's Day to me. I regularly go to the shooting with my mom. She always understands when I am in grief, even if I hide it from others. I am by nature an introvert and at the same time something like an 'angry bird'. Hence my mother understands whatever happens to me by looking at my face. I think that every mother in this world is also a detective. They can defeat many big sleuths. When I was younger, I thought this to be irritating that my mother could read me so well. But now this is calming for me. I do not need to speak or utter a single word, she can understand. This is the most beautiful thing in our relationship,” she said.

The actress admitted that one cannot get anything like a mother's love anywhere else. She further said that she learnt the meaning of love from my mom. “My first love is my mother, and then my father, who is also cute. But my mother's place is a bit more to me. I spend the maximum of my time with my mom, and she accompanies me in the shooting. But if I go far with my friends, I miss her very much. I want to message her and let her know what is happening, and what I am eating. If I see something good or eat something, I think of my mom who missed this. Whatever I gained in the film industry happened because of her support,” Ditipriya said.
