April 29 marks the late steller actor Irrfan Khan's death anniversary. It has been two years since the iconic artist left us all by his sudden demise. One of his co-stars Divya Dutta remembered him and shared a few special moments that she spent with him during working together. The actress also wished Irrfan's son Babil as he gears up to foray into Bollywood.

In a recent chat with ETimes, Divya mentioned that even if it has been two years since the actor's demise, it's hard to believe that he is not here. "I think his magnanimous presence in the movies, the legacy that he has left, and the relevance of it throughout, will not let anyone feel he is not around," she added.

Talking about his uniqueness, the Bhaag Milkha Bhaag actress said that Irrfan's impromptu style set him apart from everyone around. She further added that he was very natural, his style was subtle and effortless in what he used to do and the sheer magic he used to create was clearly visible in his work. "And to add to it, the smile that he had in his eyes. He made an impact by just looking into the camera. It was amazing," Divya added to her list of compliments for the Paan Singh Tomar actor. She later quoted, "There was something really romantic about all his performances."

Talking about OTT platforms, the Badlapur actress said that Irrfan used to love experimenting with his work and he would have loved the OTT bloom. She also added that it would have been a privilege to watch him doing something on OTT, although, thankfully his earlier made films are there various digital streamers to make his presence felt.

The actress took a nostalgic picture of her posing with Irrfan and shared it on her IG handle.

Irrfan's Paan Singh Tomar is available to stream on Netflix, while his final film Angrezi Medium, which won him Filmfare Award for Best Actor, can be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.

In the end, Divya told the portal she wishes Babil all the very best as he is all set to begin his career in Bollywood.
