Divyenndu and Shruthy Menon starrer short sci-fi thriller, 1800 Life looks intriguing, watch trailer now!

The streaming platform Amazon miniTV has announced the latest addition to its content slate. The sci-fi/tech thriller drama, 1800 LIFE, featuring new-age actors Divyenndu (of Mirzapur fame) and Shruthy Menon, is about the camouflaged aspects of technology, that are part of almost every aspect of daily life in today’s day and age. Directed by Maanavi Bedi, the film tells the story of Vishal, a comedian, who is depressed and dejected with his happy life turning dark and takes a decision to end his life. 

The makers dropped the trailer of the much-anticipated short film and it looks quite intriguing. The trailer opens with Vishal having a terrible night and trying to end his life. However, just when he is about to take the final step, he receives a call that turns his life upside down but does not to be for good. Watch the trailer here:

Girish Prabhu, head of Amazon Advertising, said in a statement that they couldn't have asked for a better combination than the storytellers Sikhya Entertainment and critically acclaimed actor Divyenndu to narrate such an exciting story. "This story will not only entertain our viewers across India but also make them think about the impact that technology has in our lives,” he said. 

The film takes viewers through a gripping and imaginative story of the amusing world of struggling standup comic Vishal Mattu. Calling it one of the most relevant stories of contemporary times, Guneet Monga, producer, Sikhya Entertainment, said "Brought to life by the enigmatic, Divyenndu and written and directed by Maanavi Bedi, we are all eagerly awaiting the premiere of the movie on Amazon miniTV on April 22nd.”
