Now it seems like the release of Tiger 3 starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif is just a month away, and the trailer has been set to be out on October 16, 2023. Yes, as per the latest reports, the latest from the ambitious YRF Universe is set to hit the big screen on Diwali day, that is, November 12, 2023. Interestingly, the date falls on a Sunday, which is the first for any Hindi film to release in many years. According to reports, all parties involved—producer Aditya Chopra, director Maneesh Sharma, distributors, and exhibitors—have taken a calculated risk with Tiger 3's Sunday movie release.

Sharing details on the same, a source told the entertainment portal that YRF is planning to take a different approach to the release of Tiger 3, which will be timed to coincide with Diwali. The exact dates of various celebrations are up for debate due to the fact that 2023 has been declared the "Adhik Mass" year in the Hindi calendar. According to Hindu astrology, releasing a film on November 13—during Amavasya—is a bad idea, even if the actual day of Govardhan Pooja/Gujarati New Year is November 14. The source added that Bhai Dooj would be observed on November 15 and that YRF plans to take advantage of the extra holiday time during the first week of the month.
Moreover, YRF's goal is to expand the business to its full potential, both in India and abroad. In Tiger 3, Salman Khan reprises his role as Tiger, while Katrina Kaif plays the "first" female spy of the YRF Spy Universe. The film is being hailed as among the most ambitious actioners, and the trailer will finally be out on Monday, much to the excitement of the fans.
Exclusive IMAX deal:
The entertainment portal also revealed that YRF has pulled off the seemingly impossible with Tiger 3, securing an IMAX exclusive deal for the film in India. This would guarantee the action flick a premiere in Indian IMAX before the similarly timed release of The Marvels.
Tiger 3 has an ensemble cast that includes Emraan Hashmi as the main villain and Revathy and Ridhi Dogra in pivotal roles.
