The makers of DNS confirmed that two shooting schedules for the film have been finished. The movie is billed as an intense action movie. This film is being directed by National Award winner Sekhar Kammula.

The movie is publicised under the hashtag #DNS, which is an acronym for Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Sekhar Kammula. It was reported that the working title is D51. A concept poster showing a money stash with tall structures and slums on either side was released earlier in 2023, coinciding with the film's announcement and giving a glimpse of its compelling plot. The most recent reports state that the movie is based on real-life events.
Dhanush was recently spotted filming in Tirupati, according to a leaked video, and a photograph of him in this new avatar has gone viral on social media. The actor is seen in the video sporting dishevelled clothing and a rough appearance. Overall, fans' interest has been piqued by this clip from the film set.
Film enthusiasts also shared pictures from the movie's pooja ceremony to show their excitement for DNS. By means of social media pages, the producers revealed that the filming started in January.
Cast and crew of DNS
According to reports, Bollywood actor Jim Sarbh has been cast in a key role in the movie. A welcome poster was shared by the film's makers to announce the actor's arrival in the action film.
The bilingual project will feature him making his Tamil-Telugu debut. The actor is rumoured to play an antagonist in the multi-starrer project, though other details about his role are still unknown.
In addition to these artistes, Rashmika Mandanna will portray the lead female role in DNS. Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao have bankrolled this film. Niketh Bommi is the cinematographer, while Ramakrishna Sabbani and Monika Nigotre are handling the production design.
