After captivating the audience earlier this year with the courageous, provocative, and enjoyable Badhaai Do, high-concept movie supporter Junglee Pictures now offers Doctor G, a fascinating and captivating tale that takes place on a medical college campus. Ayushmann Khurrana will play a doctor in the stree-rog vibhaag (gynaecology department) at a medical college in Bhopal for the first time in his ten-year acting career.

The protagonist of the narrative is Uday Gupta, played by the actor, who is the only other male student in the gynaecology department. His unwillingness to participate causes mayhem, uncertainty, a lot of amusing situations, and eventually a strong sense of solidarity among his students. The masses will get a glimpse of the chaos and turmoil that surrounded Uday's life as a medical student in the eye-catching posters that are released today. Over the years, Ayushmann has always shocked the audience with a wide range of intriguing parts, and with this movie, he is poised to dazzle them once more.

Shefali Shah plays Dr. Nandini Srivastava; Rakul Preet Singh as Dr. Fatima Siddiqui; and Sheeba Chadha will be seen as Ayushmann's mother. They all have significant roles and add extra gravitas to the cast. This comedic drama on a medical campus features a cast of bright, spirited, and dramatic characters and offers a novel tale with a healthy amount of humour, lighthearted moments, and drama as well.

During an interaction with ETimes, Anubhuti Kashyap, the director and co-writer, talks about researching this unusual subject. She was in talks with Junglee Pictures for a separate set of projects when they gave her Doctor G. Kashyap to read the screenplay and the tale that were available at the time. She firmly believed that the writers' imagined world offered the viewers something special and potent that they had never seen in a movie before. Its captivating narrative drew her in and transported her to a state of mind she had never experienced. It was sufficient justification to dive in and didn't stop with her either.

When they first met Ayushmann, he not only extended the narration from an hour to many hours, but he was also immediately drawn to the narrative. The actor was deeply engaged in bringing this tale to life and was both intrigued and curious. Kashyap observed comparable interest in Sheeba, Rakul, and Shefali. They gave just as much of themselves and immersed themselves in the roles they were given. They have come this far because of each person's willingness to go all out and put forth their best effort.

Since the movie's announcement, there has been a lot of interest in it, and now the anticipation is growing. Set your appointment with Doctor G now before the movie's trailer releases tomorrow. On October 14, the movie opens in theatres.
