Doctor G trailer Twitter reactions: Netizens eagerly wait for another intriguing film from Ayushmann Khurrana

Ayushmann Khurrana’s next promises to be a worthy entry to the interesting lineup of films the actor has in his kitty. Doctor G will see Khurrana take on the role of a medical student who finds himself struggling to get rid of his ‘male touch’ as he becomes the only male student in the gynaecology department of his medical college. The trailer for the upcoming film was unveiled by the makers recently, and it certainly got netizens talking.

The trailer shows Khurrana’s character struggling to find a place as a male medical student in gynaecology, showcasing how his own reservations also come in the way of him being unable to fulfill his duties as a doctor. The trailer also introduces Shefali Shah as a senior doctor, and Rakul Preet Singh as another medical student.

The trailer made many netizens say that Doctor G looks to be a promising and interesting film. Users praised Khurrana for being a part of yet another unique, content driven film that offered something new for audiences. One user predicted that the film would be a ‘fun filled blockbuster’.

Another thing that got users excited was to see Khurrana team up with Shah and Singh, marking the trio’s first onscreen outing together. Saying that the trailer looked interesting, one user wrote about how the trailer seemed to exaggerate the story of a male gynaecologist. The upcoming film is directed by Anubhuti Kashyap in their directorial debut. The film also features Sheeba Chaddha, essaying the role of Khurrana’s mother.

Doctor G will be released in theatres on October 14, 2022.
