Doctor Strange 2 Twitter review: Netizens find a plethora of reasons to love Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen’s film

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has finally hit the big screen this week, bringing much relief to MCU fans who have been patiently awaiting the doctor’s arrival for quite some time. But has the film been able to deliver on its promise of a ‘mind bending’ dive into the multiverse? Well, fans have taken to Twitter to answer just that.

Many users found a host of different things they enjoyed about the film. One user talked about how they loved the ‘diversity and inclusion’ in the film as well as the ‘new concepts’ introduced, while another said it was ‘everything’ they ever wanted in an MCU film. A user also talked about how they thought the film was just ‘average’, although they praised the visuals and Elizabeth Olsen’s performance as Wanda Maximoff. “Still processing”, wrote one user.

Olsen’s performance in the film earned her praise across the board, and one user claimed that the film was “clearly Wanda and the Multiverse of Madness”.

Many users talked about how Raimi brought in his signature filmmaking elements to the film, with a user saying that it was ‘straight up’ Raimi’s film. Another talked about how the film was ‘not for everyone’ and that it could be better appreciated among viewers who enjoyed Raimi’s ‘style of horror’.

Some people also felt that the MCU film had many elements of horror, with one even likening it to Ghostbusters. “Okay that was several different types of horror film” wrote a user.

But despite it all, there were many fans who were so impressed with the film that they wanted to see it again and again.

The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen,Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez,Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Stuhlbarg and Rachel McAdams in pivotal roles.
