Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Twitter reactions: Fans celebrate the return of Professor X

The new trailer of Doctor Strange in the Multivese of Madness debuted at the Super Bowl and it has already gotten fans talking on social media. Following the release of the trailer, Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen starrer has become the talk of Twitter. 

the trailer hints at Patrick Stewart returning as Charles Xavier aka Professor X, and this has caused Twitter users to talk about various topics. Some of these include his entry into the MCU, share memes, and even talk about the chances of the Illuminati, a secret society and group of superheroes from the comics. 

Apart from discussions about the return of Professor X, users on Twitter also found time to appreciate Doctor Strange and Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda. The two superheroes will be seen teaming up in the movie, as some unexpected things await them from the multiverse. 

Fans are also using the social media platform to try and understand what the movie has to offer. From Zombie Scarlet Witch and Zombie Doctor Strange making their way into the movie, to the introduction of The Illuminati, a secret society of superheroes in the Marvel comics, fans had a few ideas. 

Directed by Sam Raimi, the 28th film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is set to hit theater on May 6, 2022, as part of Phase Four of the MCU.
