Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was one of the most anticipated movies of the year, and hit theatres around the world on May 6. The movie, which did not receive rave reviews, has done solid business at the box office. As the MCU flick gets ready for its digital release, we now have deleted scenes from the movie available online.
The first scene, titled ‘A Great Team’, features Benedict Cumberbatch’s Steven Strange and Rachel McAdams’ Dr. Christine Palmer discussing the Strange-Palmer procedure with a journalist on camera.
In another deleted scene from the movie called ‘It’s Not Permanent’, we get to see Bruce Campbell, a frequent collaborator with the movie’s director Sam Raimi, accuse Doctor Strange of being an imposter who has stolen the magical cloak from the ‘Strange Museum’. Campbell also makes a cameo in the end credit scenes of Doctor Strange 2.
A few featurettes have also been released with regards to the movie, where the members of its crew discuss it. In one such featurette, Raimi and writer Michael Waldron sit down and talk about the different versions of Doctor Strange that appear in the movie.
Starring Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Rachel McAdams among others, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness follows Steven and Wanda as they embark into the multiverse.
The movie has grossed close to $1 billion worldwide despite receiving only mixed reviews. The movie is set to start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on June 22.
