Bellamkonda Sreenivas, who forayed into Hindi cinema with the VV Vinayak directorial Chatrapathi (a remake of SS Rajamouli-Prabhas’ Telugu hit), is busy wrapping up the shoot of his upcoming Telugu film helmed by Bheemla Nayak, Appatlo Okadundevadu fame Saagar K Chandra. The film, produced by Raam Achanta and Gopi Achanta under 14 Reels Plus, commenced shooting in June.

The makers have consciously kept the shoot details of BSS10 under wraps in the recent months, but have given film buffs some reason to rejoice sharing a series of on-location pictures today. While the team has stated that BSS10 was a mass entertainer during the shoot commencement, the latest stills suggest that the film may have a sports backdrop.

In a couple of images, Saagar K Chandra and producers Ram, Gopi Achanta are involved in intense discussions while an image has the former enacting an action sequence to the crew. The only still where we get a peek into the film’s premise is a scene featuring a bearded Bellamkonda Sreenivas that unfolds amidst a boxing ring. A series of motivational quotes, posters can also be seen in the background.

We’re yet to know whether the sports backdrop is only one dimension of the film or if it is integral to the story. More updates about the film, cast and crew will be out shortly, the team assured. 14 Reels Plus, the production house backing BSS10, had multiple releases in the recent years including Sreekaram, Gaddalakonda Ganesh, Sarkaaru Vaari Paata.

Meanwhile, Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ Hindi release Chatrapathi was out on OTT earlier this year, premiering on Amazon Prime Video. The actor was seen in a Telugu film in 2021 - Alludu Adhurs, directed by Santosh Srinivas. He was to be a part of Stuartpuram Donga, the biopic of Tiger Nageswara Rao, but the project didn’t take off post the announcement.
