Don actor Sivakarthikeyan's Tamil-Telugu bilingual almost complete, except for song shoots

We had told you Sivakarthikeyan had begun shooting for his upcoming Tamil-Telugu, bilingual. While the shooting has been going on in full swing, almost 90 per cent of the filming is over, barring two-song shoots, for which the makers will visit abroad.

Ukrainian model-actor Maria Ryaboshapka, who was seen in Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story, will be making her Tamil debut, opposite Sivakarthikeyan, in this one. Tentatively titled SK 20, the film is directed by Jathi Ratnalu-fame Anudeep KV. Unconfirmed reports suggest that this yet-to-be-titled film will have Sivakarthikeyan playing a tourist guide. However, an official word is awaited.

The film went on floors in Karaikudi, in February 2022. Bankrolled by Sree Venkateswara Films LLP and Suresh Productions, SK 20 will have music by Thaman.

Sivakarthikeyan has multiple films in the pipeline. His next release will be Don, directed by Cibi Chakravarthy. The youthful campus entertainer will be released in theatres on May 13. He also has the long-awaited Ayalaan, directed by R Ravi Kumar, in the pipeline.

Further, it was announced that Sivakarthikeyan will be teaming up with Rangoon director Rajkumar Periasamy for a yet-to-be-titled pan-Indian period film, produced by Kamal Haasan's home banner, Raaj Kamal Film International, in association with Sony Pictures.

Touted to be a comedy entertainer, SK 20 has Sathyaraj, Naveen Polishetty and Premgi Amaren in important roles. SK 20 album will have a total of five songs. Sivakarthiekyan has penned the lyrics of one song and another by Arivu. Of the two songs that are yet to be composed, plans are on to rope in Vignesh Shivn to pen the lyrics for one and Rokesh for another.

SK 20 has camera work by Beast fame, Manoj Paramahamsa.

If everything goes well, expect SK 20 to lock horns with Karthi's Sardar, directed by PS Mithran. Both the films will hit the screens on August 12.
