Don actress Sivaangi meets Ranbir Kapoor during Shamshera promotions

Cooku With Comali star Sivaangi Krishnakumar has shared pictures with Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor during her recent visit to Mumbai. Sivaangi met Ranbir during the promotions of the latter's upcoming film Shamshera. The actress who shared a series of pictures with the star on her social media handle, captioned it, "Thats how my first Mumbai trip went🙈Cant wait to share the real deal with you all😍 #ranbirkapoor #shamshera promotions❤️ @yrf @Meta @instagram @oodagaa @vbzu (sic)." The actress had given a gist about something exciting that happened and had written on her social media page, "Met someone exciting todayyy!! Revealing at 6 pm !! Meanwhile….keep guessing🥰 (sic)."

Sivaangi made her film debut with Sivakarthikeyan's latest outing Don. She played a college student and a friend of Priyanka Mohan's character in the film. Sivaangi first shot to limelight as a singer the reality show Super Singer 7, which aired on Star Vijay. However, it was the cooking reality show Cooku With Comali that catapulted her to fame and soon she became a household name. Later, Sivaangi went on to sing Asku Maaro alongside composer Dharan and Talku Lessu Worku Moreu for Murungakkai Chips. Her other songs include Uruttu, Neethanda, Nee Yen Usuru Pola to name a few. The singer-cum-actress will now be seen in Naai Sekar Returns, which marks the comeback of Vagai Puyal Vadivelu.

Ranbir Kapoor, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of the period action film Shamshera, which is all set to hit screens on July 22. The plot set in the 1800s, follows the life of a dacoit tribe and their fight for independence against the British rule. Ranbir will be seen in a dual role in the film. The star cast comprises Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Vaani Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Saurabh Shukla,Ronit Roy, Tridha Choudhury and Pitobash Tripathy.
