D Suresh Babu (Suresh Productions) and Sunitha Tati (Guru Films), after joining hands for the blockbuster Oh Baby and the crime comedy Saakini Daakini, are reuniting for a new-age thriller Dongalunnaru Jagratha. This is their third collaboration and the film is getting ready for a release shortly. The film, which went on floors in late 2021, features Sri Simha Koduri, Preethi Asrani and Samuthirakani in lead roles. First-time director Satish Tripura is helming the thriller.
The film’s title and first look poster were launched today, commemorating Sri Simha's birthday. While the title Dongalunnaru Jagratha was announced on the film launch day itself, the first look poster released today grabs your attention immediately. In the poster, Sri Simha Koduri is screaming while he’s tied to a chair with the cable of a CC camera. Below him in the poster is a picture of a car on a road.
The poster is designed more like a location on Google Maps application with a map placed below the title. Preethi Asrani, the Malli Raava, Seetimaarr girl, is back in action with the film with Samuthirakani also playing an important role. Yeshwanth C has been roped in as the film's cinematographer. Dongalunnaru Jaagratha will have music by Kaala Bhairava. The other crew members include the art director Gandhi Nadikudikar, editor Garry BH. Manzar Studios is the co-producer of the film.
This is Sri Simha Koduri and Kaala Bhairava’s second collaboration after working together for the superhit Mathu Vadalara. Dongalunnaru Jagratha’s filming is nearly complete. The makers will announce a release date soon. Earlier in the day, Suresh Productions also released a special birthday video for Sri Simha Koduri.
