'Don't know how I ended up in The Gray Man', quips Dhanush

Dhanush, who is part of The Gray Man, recently attended a press conference in Los Angeles. The actor plays one of the assassins in the film, which also features Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling, and Ana De Armas in the lead roles. The Russo Brothers have helmed the film, which will have a Netflix release soon. At the press conference, Dhanush was quizzed about being a part of the project and how he landed a role in The Gray Man.

To which the talented star quipped, "I don't know how I ended up in this film. The casting agency told me there was a Hollywood project. I asked them which film, what film, and what role they were playing. Then they told me, and I was like, 'Okay'."

Expressing his gratitude, Dhanush further said, "It can't get bigger than that and I was really very excited. Of course, I don't say much in this, but I really was super thrilled and I was looking for an opportunity to explore and learn more, and this was an amazing opportunity for me."

Earlier, in a statement, the Russo Brothers had spoken about Dhanush's role in The Gray Man. They said that the actor has two significant battle scenes and portrays one of the world's greatest assassins. Dhanush has a fantastic presence on camera, and they enjoyed seeing him perform.

Dhanush stated that he is thrilled to share that he will be working on The Gray Man, a Netflix original film directed by The Russo Brothers and starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans. The actor is looking forward to taking part in this amazing action-adventure. The Gray Man will start streaming on Netflix on July 22, 2022.
