A source has spilled some important details related to the project, including how the second lead, aka Kill actor Lakshya Kapoor, is still a part of the movie. "As initial talk about reviving the rom-com began in the production house, retaining Lakshya was a no-brainer," the little birdie shared. The actor had left a mark with his debut Bollywood movie Kill, but has not appeared in any other project in two years.

Vikrant Massey replaces Kartik Aaryan in Dostana 2?

While Lakshya is still a part of the movie, another renowned actor might have stepped in to replace Kartik. Yes, we hear Vikrant Massey is taking the lead on Dostana, which originally starred John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead roles, with Priyanka Chopra playing the female lead. "The team wants actors with chemistry and gravitas. Vikrant fits that brief," the source confirmed. At the same time, there's still no update on whether the female lead, Janhvi Kapoor, is still a part of the sequel to Dostana.
