Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Quereshi are all set to redefine self-worth in the light of body positivity in their upcoming social comedy, Double XL. Directed by Satramm Ramani, the slice-of-life drama takes on the stereotypes attached to body weight. In the trailer, the actresses are seen chasing their dreams and challenging all the stigma attached to them.
After the trailer was appreciated all over, the first song Taali Taali from the film was dropped on Friday. Penned by Mudassar Aziz and composed by Sohail Sen, the song is a peppy party number in which Huma and Sonakshi dance their hearts out. Tamil superstar Silambarasan stepped into Bollywood playback with the number. Sohail, and Rukhsar Bandhukia sang along with him.
Silambarasan took to his social media to announce his debut. “Here’s my first song in Hindi, My debut as a singer in Bollywood & this one is for my friend @MahatOfficial Onwards & upwards! Proud of you. Good luck to the whole team of doubleXL Guys get ready to groove with the #TaaliTaali song!” he wrote.
Evidently, the song has elements to rock the dance floors in the coming days. It has the potential to become the party anthem. Along with Sonakshi and Huma, the song features Zaheer Iqbal and Mahat Raghavendra. Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl, Saqib Saleem, Huma Qureshi and Mudassar Aziz, Double XL is set to be released on November 4.
