The Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi starrer Double XL was released last Friday. The latest comedy-drama talks about two oversized women, who find each other at their lowest and try to explore their own selves together amid navigating society's beauty standards. The movie dropped in theatres with great intention but only managed to gather very low attention and the least positive reviews. Not only critics, but the audience also find it quite disappointing.

Some of the movie buffs took to social media and shared their reviews about the film.

One of the netizens shared a YouTube reaction video on Twitter and mentioned, "#DoubleXL Bahut hi wahiyat movie hai, logo ke sir pr #Kantara ka bhoot chada hua hai aur inko lgta hai ki #public inka ye farzi firmula ko pasand krenge! My #DoubleXLreview (Sic)."

A Twitter user called it disappointing and also wrote, "I saw #DoubleXLreview .... Very disappoint... I thought they show real problem of fatness.... but only fun & body shaming Fat is not only eating it's a issue in health my body change lots after postCOVID My weight increase.. but people only fun on fatness very sad to see (sic)."

Another moviegoer tagged the film as not fit and further added, "One Word Review: "NOT-FIT" #DoubleXL wasted a good idea because of lazy writing. #SonakshiSinha & #HumaQureshi both are brilliant but have to choose films wisely. This Double XL is not fit for both of them. #DoubleXLreview #DoubleTrouble #SonakshiSinha #HumaQureshi #TSeries (Sic)."
