DQ 41 plot revealed! Dulquer Salmaan-Pooja Hegde romantic drama is all about ‘a girl with no past’, destiny and buried memories

We had earlier reported that actor Dulquer Salmaan will be pairing up Pooja Hegde for an upcoming Telugu film, tentatively titled DQ 41. Not much about the film have been revealed, with the plot of DQ 41 released recently during a streaming platform’s event. Here is what Dulquer Salmaan and Pooja Hegde film is all about.

DQ 41 plot: What is Dulquer Salmaan and Pooja Hegde film story?

DQ 41 is an upcoming Telugu film starring Dulquer Salmaan and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. The film is helmed by debutant director Ravi Nelakuditi, and is currently under production. Prime Video, which has announced the streaming rights of the film, had recently posted a logline of DQ 41, which is now deleted.

As per the logline posted by Prime Video, it reads, "He loved a girl with no past and gave her a future...Now destiny returns to take her back, steeped in a forgotten life, buried memories and claims he cannot disprove, caught between destiny and love, she must decide what truly means.” From the lines, it can be assured that DQ 41 is an unconditional love story about two individuals not with an easy past and is expected to be content driven.

What else do we know about DQ 41?

While the film is yet to get a title and release date, the makers have already sold the post-theatrical streaming rights of DQ 41. In the recently conducted Prime Video event unveiling its slate, it was revealed that DQ 41 will land on Prime Video after theatrical run.

DQ 41 marks the first time Pooja Hegde and Dulquer Salmaan are pairing up onscreen. The film has music by GV Prakash Kumar and is shot by cinematographer Anay Om Goswamy. The movie will release in multiple languages including Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada, and Tamil languages. More updates about the film are expected to roll out in the coming months.
