Dragon box office collection day 2 report: Pradeep Ranganathan and Ashwath Marimuthu’s film makes almost double of first day; blockbuster loading

Tamil film Dragon, starring actor and filmmaker Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role, has been ruling the box office ever since its release. The film's two-day collection so far stands at Rs 16.75 crore in India in Tamil and Telugu.

After the success of Love Today, actor Pradeep Ranganathan starred in Dragon, a film written and directed by his long-time friend and director Ashwath Marimuthu. The film released on February 21, and has been successfully received by the audience.

Dragon has collected Rs 16.75 crore so far at the box office. After collecting about Rs 6 crore on day one, the second day saw a surge, with Rs 10.25 collected. Dragon is expected to collect more with the weekend and next week to follow.

The film is produced by AGS Entertainment, with Archana Kalpathi spearheading the project. Starring Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role, the film also features KS Ravi Kumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Vj Siddhu, Harshath Khan, Anupama Parameshwaran, Kayadu Lohar, George Mariyan, Indhumathy Manigandan, Thenappan and others.

You can stream Dragon on Netflix after its theatrical run. The film has music by Leon James, and a surprise cameo in the post-credit scene.

Ashwath Marimuthu made his debut with Oh My Kadavule, a romantic fantasy drama starring Ashok Selvan, Ritika Singh, Vani Bhojan, and others with Vijay Sethupathi in a cameo appearance. Oh My Kadavule revolves around two best friends who get married only to learn that they are incompatible. The rest of the film deals with a divine intervention that makes them wonder if they are right for each other.

Oh My Kadavule is available for streaming on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium.
