Dragon producers lock Jude Anthany for Sivakarthikeyan's next? Here is what we know

Actor Sivakarthikeyan, who is currently shooting for Sudha Kongara’s Parasakthi, is reportedly set to team up with Malayalam filmmaker Jude Anthany Joseph for a Tamil film for AGS Entertainments banner. The project is said to have Arya play the negative role, however, no official confirmation on any of the details has been out.

Sivakarthikeyan and Jude Anthany to team up?

Sivakarthikeyan, who was last seen in Amaran, is currently working on multiple projects, including AR Murugadoss’ Madhrasi and Sudha Kongara directorial Parasakthi. In addition to this, there is also a speculation that Sivakarthikeyan will be doing a film with Malayalam filmmaker Jude Anthany Joseph, who made the Malayalam commercial blockbuster 2018. If the project indeed materializes, it will be Jude’s first feature film in Tamil.

The Sivakarthikeyan-Jude Anthany project is expected to be bankrolled by AGS Entertainment with actor Arya playing the antagonist. While Archana Kalpathi of AGS Entertainment had previously affirmed that they will be doing a film with Sivakarthikeyan and a notable director, she did give away the name of the director. Sivakarthikeyan earlier made a cameo appearance in Vijay-starrer The GOAT, which is produced by the same banner. It is the same banner which produced the commercial blockbuster Dragon.

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan is currently shooting for Sudha’s project, Parasakthi. It stars Ravi Mohan, Sreeleela and Atharva Murali in the lead roles.

Where to watch Jude Anthany Joseph’s 2018 on OTT?

2018 is a 2023 Malayalam survival film which is based on the Kerala floods which took place in the year 2018. Directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, who co-wrote the screenplay with Akhil P. Dharmajan, the film starred actors Kunchacko Boban, Tovino Thomas, Asif Ali, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Narain, Tanvi Ram, Aparna Balamurali, and Lal. The film went on to become one of the commercial blockbusters of Malayalam cinema and was chosen by the Film Federation of India as India's official entry for Best International Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards
