The Dream Girl 2 crew believes that starting over at the beginning is the ideal method to wrap out the movie's production. On March 3, Ayushmann Khurrana and the comedy's final schedule in Mumbai will get started with the filming of a jagrata song, which serves as the opening scene. Producer Ektaa R. Kapoor and director Raaj Shaandilyaa changed their minds on where to shoot the number after it was first scheduled for Mathura. According to Midday, it is being put in place on a large scale at Chandivali Studio in Mumbai right now.

It turns out that many producers are eager to make their films bigger in order to give spectators a big-screen experience in the wake of Shah Rukh Khan's phenomenal success, Pathaan. A source told the tabloid that because it was Ayushmann's first number, Ektaa made the event a sumptuous affair. With a harness, he will be shown making a big entry.

According to the source, the song was supposed to be recorded live in Mathura, where the movie starring Ayushmann and Ananya Panday takes place. However, this did not work out. Many dancers and young performers would need to be flown there from Mumbai if it were to be recorded in Mathura or Benares, which would increase the expense. Ektaa made the correct choice to film it in Mumbai. She was looking for a lavish tune that would sound good on the large screen. She decided it would be best to remake the Jagrata tune because the small-town comedy did not naturally lend itself to a big number.

Production designer Rajat Poddarr built a complicated set that looks like a large mohalla with tents. The production team has put up a 40-foot-tall statue of Durga Mata as a stage backdrop for Ayushmann and more than 100 background dancers. The devotional song, which Bosco Martis choreographed, will transition into a more upbeat song where the main character will shake a leg with his friends. The transition into a fast-paced song, in Ektaa's opinion, would appeal to young people.

Dream Girl 2 also features Paresh Rawal, Seema Pahwa, and Abhishek Banerjee.
