Dream Girl 2 new poster: ‘Pooja’ Ayushmann Khurrana’s aashiq line up to hide under her lehenga

Ayushmann Khurrana is back as Pooja in Dream Girl 2. With him (or actually, her), the aashiq are also back. The latest poster from the film shows these aashiq hide under her lehenga. The lehenga is a pink coloured train outfit.

The poster sees Manjot Singh, Vijay Raaz, Abhishek Banerjee and Rajpal Yadav hide under the lehenga. They all show their bright smiles in the poster.

While Vijay and Abhishek are repeated from the first part, Rajpal Yadav and Manjot Singh have joined the franchise. Annu Kapoor, who played one of Pooja’s lovers last time, is back but has a different graph this time.

The movie is helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, who had directed the original film too. The first part released back in 2019.

Dream Girl 2 will release in theatres on August 25. The movie will see Ayushmann reprise the role of telecaller Pooja who has men falling weak in their knees.

The film is produced by Ektaa Kapoor under her production house, Balaji Telefilms. While Nusratt Bharuccha played the female lead the last time, this time Ananya Panday has joined the movie as the main lead opposite Ayushmann. The film will also star Paresh Rawal in a pivotal role.

Since the announcement of the film, Ayushmann has changed his Instagram name to ‘Dream Girl Pooja.’ The role became iconic back in 2019, when the film released around Diwali, on September 13.
