Dream Girl 2’s Ananya Panday says stalking people makes her a better actor!

Ananya Panday has been making headlines both for her personal and professional lives. Earlier this year, she was spotted in Portugal holidaying with her rumoured boyfriend, actor Aditya Roy Kapur. The actress is now back on the silver screen opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in Raaj Shaandilyaa’s Dream Girl 2. And in a recent interview, Ananya revealed what helps her be a better actor.

Ananya Panday: I have all the qualities of a stalker

"I have all the qualities of a stalker. I need to know everything about everyone. This quality of mine helps me in my acting,” Ananya told Prabhat Khabar in a recent interview. Revealing how she prepared for her role in Dream Girl 2, the actor said that she went to Mathura and observed people there and their style of speaking. She said that she used all of that for her character.

Who Ananya Panday stalks on Instagram

Talking about the people she stalks on Instagram, Ananya said, “I stalk Zeenat Aman the most. I find all her posts and style of writing very interesting. If she shares throwback pictures from the set of a film, I make sure to watch that film."

Ananya also spoke about her online presence and said that she tries her best to stay true to herself and be a regular girl on social media. What’s more, she said that she only advertises products that she uses for herself.

Dream Girl 2

Ananya’s latest release, Dream Girl 2, was released in theatres on August 25. Directed by Raj Shaandilyaa, the film also stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Manjot Singh in lead roles. It is a sequel to the 2019 hit film Dream Girl, which starred Nushrratt Bharuccha.
