Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer Drishyam 2 is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The Abhishek Pathak directorial, which also stars Shriya Saran, is set to arrive soon in theatres. The makers have dropped the first official poster of the upcoming sequel.

The latest mysterious image sees Ajay as Vijay Salgaonkar standing with his wife and two daughters in front of Swami Chinmaya Nand's Aashram. The father himself holding a spade, while his wife Nandini Salgaonkar (Shriya) is holding a bag. His eldest Anju (Ishita Dutta) is holding an iron rod and the youngest Anu (Mrunal Jadhav) have a DVD of Swami Chinmayanand's Maha Satsang's recording.

The following items in the hands of the Salgaonkar family surely make the first look of Drishyam 2 mysterious and nostalgic at the same time. The makers also unveiled that the teaser of the upcoming flick is set to be out on Thursday, September 29.

Ajay shared the latest image with a quirky caption and reminded a very important date from the first film to his fans. The Instagram post reads, "2 aur 3 October ko kya hua tha yaad hai na? Vijay Salgaonkar is back with his family. Recall Teaser Out Tomorrow! #Drishyam2 (sic)."

On Tuesday, the Bollywood hunk shared a few images as a hint for the upcoming part. The four quirky images also made the audience feel nostalgic with the items showcased in them including the food bill from Ashok Restaurant in Panjim, Goa, an old DVD of Swami Chinmayanand's Maha Satsang, a bus ticket from Panjim to Pondelem and four movie tickets of Friday's show.

The upcoming crime drama, which is an official Hindi remake of the 2021 Indian Malayalam-language crime thriller film Drishyam 2: The Resumption starring Mohanlal and Meena, is backed by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar under Panorama Studios, Viacom18 Studios and T-Series Films.

Drishyam 2, which also has Akshaye Khanna in a major role, is slated to be out in theatres on November 18.
