The Hindi adaptation of Drishyam 2 has finally hit the big screen today. The lead actors are Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Akshaye Khanna. Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, and Rajat Kapoor have supporting roles in the movie. After a year, the Hindi version of the Malayalam hit film arrived. The original film skipped the theatrical release and directly premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2021, due to the pandemic. Now, after the theatrical run, Drishyam 2 (Hindi) will also be released on Amazon Prime Video.

Seven years after the case against Vijay Salgaonkar and his family was closed, a series of unplanned events in the new movie bring to light a truth that could change everything for the Salgaonkars. Can Vijay save his family again?

After the success of Drishyam 2 (2021), the follow-up to the original 2013 Malayalam film Drishyam, which came out in February 2021, the sequel was announced. Pathak was roped in to direct the film, which was co-produced by Panorama Studios.

On February 17, 2022, in Mumbai, the remade sequel's principal photography began. Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran participated in a large portion of the Goa-based filming. On April 26, Tabu joined the sets, and on April 30, Akshaye Khanna did likewise. The movie was completed on June 21, 2022, in Hyderabad.

Devi Sri Prasad is the film's music composer. Amitabh Bhattacharya is responsible for the lyrics. Panorama Music purchased the film's music rights.

Drishyam is about a family man named Vijay Salgaonkar, who is played by Ajay Devgn. After an unfortunate incident involving his older daughter put his family under the police's scrutiny, he did everything he could to shield them. The Inspector General of Police, Meera Deshmukh, was portrayed by Tabu.

Drishyam 2 is the third remake of the Malayalam film after Telugu and Kannada.
