Drishyam 3 release date confirmed
Panorama Studios, which has produced the Drishyam franchise over the years, confirmed the release date of the Ajay Devgn starrer. In case you haven't guessed it yet, the movie is indeed going to be out in theatres on October 2, Gandhi Jayanti, but in 2026. This date holds a special place because it is the day when everything started. It is where the story (both true and made-up story) of Drishyam commenced.

Ajay Devgn reunites with Abhishek Pathak
Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Pathak have worked as actor-producer numerous times. They came together for Drishyam 2 after original director Nishikant Kamat's demise, and finally, the two reunite for Drishyam 3. The movie, like always, is adapted from the Mohanlal starrer. The movie could go on floors by July-August. It is to be noted that Ajay has completed shooting for De De Pyaar De 2, Dhamaal 4 and Ranger, and his focus is now on Drishyam 3, which is likely to be similar to the plot of the Malayalam version. The actor, reportedly, is impressed by the script and wants to take the film forward as soon as possible. This means that he would start work on the franchise movie this year itself.
About the Drishyam franchise
The Drishyam franchise has retained the starcast from the original story. While Ajay Devgn plays the protective father Vijay Salgaonkar, who only sees his family before anybody, Shriya Saran plays the wife and Ishita Dutta is seen as their daughter. Tabu is the cop Meera Deshmukh in the movie, who is hell-bent on solving the mysterious case of her son’s disappearance.
