Drive-Away Dolls is the ultimate holiday film for the Valentine fortnight next year, marking the solo directorial debut of Ethan Coen. He had been part of the iconic Coen brothers, with Joel Coen (who returned last year with his solo film The Tragedy of Macbeth) until they broke up. Co-produced and co-written with wife Tricia Cooke, Ethan Coen chose to create a refreshing action comedy full of eccentric, LGBTQ+ characters, dark humor, and a road trip to Tallahassee with a mysterious briefcase.

Release Date and Trailer of Drive-Away Dolls

The film will be released theatrically on February 23, 2024, just in time for couples to catch a break from the cliché releases. The original date had been September 22, 2023, but it got postponed due to the then-ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike. The trailer for the film was dropped in June 2023.
