Prime Video has announced that the upcoming Amazon Original film Dry Day will premiere with an intriguing poster. Emmay Entertainment's Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikkhil Advani produced the film, which stars Jitendra Kumar, Shriya Pilgaonkar, and Annu Kapoor, under the direction of Saurabh Shukla. The Hindi version of Dry Day, alongside its Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada dubs, will have its premiere on December 22, 2023.

Plot overview:

In the rural interior of the country, Jitendra Kumar's portrayal of the small-time gangster Gannu launches a crusade against the establishment. In the midst of his heartfelt journey to win over his loved ones, Gannu faces not only external obstacles but also his inner self-doubt and the problem of drinking.

According to Aparna Purohit, head of India Originals at Prime Video, the film features a mixture of a diverse array of cuisines and unique details. Working with Emmay Entertainment has been a remarkable experience, and she does not doubt that their fifth joint venture, Dry Day, will be well-received by viewers.
