Dude new poster: Pradeep Ranganathan, Mamitha Baiju pose in style; confirms Diwali clash with Dhruv Vikram’s Bison

Only on Saturday, the makers of Pradeep Ranganathan’s next announced that the upcoming film Dude will be hitting big screens for Diwali this year. Following up with this, the makers of the film released a special poster featuring Pradeep and Mamita Baiju, on Sunday.

Actor and filmmaker Pradeep Ranganathan, who gave blockbuster success this year with Dragon, has already scheduled his second release of the year. Dude is title of the upcoming film, which will star Premalu fame Mamitha Baiju as the female lead.

On Sunday, a special poster was released by the makers. It features a shirtless Pradeep as Mamitha Baiju leans on him. The duo looks happy against an orange backdrop. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and is helmed by debutant filmmaker Keerthiswaran, a former assistant of Sudha Kongara. Dude also stars actors Sarathkumar, Rohini Molleti, and Hridhu Haroon are also part of the cast. Sai Abhyankkar is scoring the music, while Mythri Movies Makers is bankrolling the film.

Dude Vs Bison at box office

Dude has been announced to have a festive release for Diwali this year. This means, the film has confirmed clash with Bison, an upcoming sports drama starring Dhruv Vikram in the lead role and directed by Mari Selvaraj. The film also features Dragon actor Anupama Parameswaran, Rajisha Vijayan, Lal and others. The post-theatrical streaming rights of Dude and Bison have been bagged by Netflix.

The Comali filmmaker, who is now on acting spree, has already delivered successes in form of Love Today and Dragon as an actor. He is also working with Naanum Rowdy Dhaan director Vignesh Shivan in Love Insurance Kompany. The film is expected to be a romantic drama set in a futuristic world.
