Dude OTT, founded by director-producer Eeshwar, to launch on May 15

In an already crowded OTT space, another streaming platform, Dude OTT, is all set to make its presence felt. In times when medium/small budget movie producers are increasingly finding it difficult to release their films in theatres, Dude OTT aims to lend a helping hand and aid them in breathing easy. The streaming platform is set to have a grand launch in Hyderabad in the presence of several film celebrities and politicians on May 15.

Director, producer Eeshwar, who’s the founder of Dude OTT, shared, “I’ve worked on a handful of films as a producer, director and even as an actor. I am happy to launch a new streaming platform in the market this weekend, amid the presence of noted dignitaries from the film industry and politicians. Dude OTT is an attempt to create interesting opportunities for actors, technicians, producers looking for a platform to tell a story and prove their worth. Our main aim is to support and encourage medium budget film producers.”

Dude OTT has two segments - OTT and ATT. The streaming platform founder also hopes to produce originals shortly. The platform is a message to investors that OTTs are no less than theatrical releases but for the fact that the content in the latter is savoured by crowds at homes, Eeshwar said. OTT or theatres, it’s important to promote your content well and we hope to engage streaming enthusiasts starting this May 15, he added.

The platform promises to be a saviour for several films that are stuck in the cans for long and are looking forward for release. Dude OTT will also livestream a major cricket tournament being held in Dallas, US. Dude OTT is a celebration of new age talent, another partner in the streaming platform, East West Rajeev mentioned.
