The trailer of the much-anticipated Diwali release, Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dude, was released by the makers on Thursday. The team of Dude is currently in Tirupati, promoting the film, as the release date nears, October 17. The trailer of Dude promises to be a commercial entertainer.
The promotions for Dude are in full swing, and the latest is the trailer release. Dude is scheduled for a Diwali release. The trailer is now out. In the film, Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju play Agan and Kural, childhood best friends with Agan harbouring unspoken romantic feelings for Kural.
From the trailer, we know Agan's character is someone who faces life as easily as 'dealing with the left hand' and someone who is doing it throughout their life. And we see Agan and Kural, and obviously, the latter's antics, are not found 'cute' by Agan. She even asks him to eat chocolates whenever he feels like smoking, as we see them sharing some jovial moments together. but that is not just that, as Kural says that there is no place for love between them, obviously dejecting him. Pradeep also says the trend right now is to see others' feelings as 'cringe'. Dude shows other supporting characters and roller-coaster ride of emotions. Pradeep also says that the thali does not have any feelings, but only for the woman behind it.
The Oorum Blood song is heard through the trailer, with various parts of it placed at different junctures, depending upon the emotions.

With music by Sai Abhyankkar in his Tamil debut, Dude’s post-theatrical streaming rights have been bagged by Netflix. Dude is set to compete at the box office with two other Tamil films: Harish Kalyan-starrer Diesel and Mari Selvaraj’s directorial Bison with Dhruv Vikram.
