During a Meet & Greet session with fans in Mumbai, Alia was, of course, asked about Dulhania 3. Fans urged her to reunite with Varun Dhawan and questioned if anything was in the pipeline. While touched by their enthusiasm, Alia admitted that she’s just as clueless as they are about the film’s progress. She responded, "Haan, par script honi chahiye na" (Yes, but there should be a script, right?). To this, fans excitedly quipped,"Hum fans bana lenge!" (We fans will make it!).
Alia was pleasantly surprised by their enthusiasm, laughing and even hyping them up for their idea. "That’s a great idea. It will be the first of its kind. Why don’t you all come together and write a script? It will be amazing. It’s a fabulous idea, in fact... chalo karo!" (Go ahead, do it!). If the makers actually announce the film after nearly a decade, fans will undoubtedly have a blast!
What Karan Johar Has to Say
Meanwhile, as per Pinkvilla, even Karan Johar has expressed interest in making the movie at some point. He recently stated: "I don’t know how to plan these things. We do want to make the third Dulhania film, and I hope we will at some point. It’s a love story franchise that actually doesn’t exist—it’s only us who made it. Humpty, Badri, and now we are looking forward to making another Dulhania film."
