Dulquer Salmaan drops interesting update on Wayfarer Films’ next with Naslen, Kalyani Priyadarshan

Dulquer Salmaan took to Instagram on Thursday to reveal a logo with the caption ‘They Live Among Us’. The Charlie actor did not disclose any other details.
Earlier, there were reports that the upcoming Naslen-starrer was part of the proposed Wayfarer Cinematic Universe which could expand to make 4 or 5 movies. Fans are speculating on whether DQ has confirmed the cinematic universe with the logo reveal. If the reports are indeed true, this would be another cinematic universe in Mollywood. Already, Weekend Blockbusters have been on the path to set up a cinematic universe (WCU)
Tharangam director Dominic Arun is helming the upcoming movie, which is scripted by Santhy Balachandran. This is the production No 7 of the Wayfarer Films. Dulquer and Tovino Thomas will also be making cameo appearances in the film, reports have said. Arun Kurian and Chandu Salimkumar are also part of the film, which has Nimish Ravi as the cinematographer and Yannick Ben is the stunt director.
The yet-to-be-titled film had wrapped up shooting by the end of January 2025. The shoot schedule went up to 94 days. Mammootty had also visited the sets and the pictures had gone viral.
Meanwhile, Naslen was last in Khalid Rahman's sports comedy Alappuzha Gymkhana, which released in theatres on April 10, 2025. The film is yet to make its OTT premeire. The young star is also part of Thudarum director Tharun Moorthy's upcoming film Torpedo, which also stars Fahadh Faasil. Kalyani, on the other hand, was last seen in Varshangalkku Shesham. She also has Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira with Fahadh.
