Telugu audiences have constantly loved Dulquer Salmaan, even before he was seen in his first Telugu film Mahanati, through his dubbed films on television and the theatrical releases of his Malayalam films in Hyderabad. Post Mahanati, he has become more dear to audiences in this land and much to their joy, he’s coming up with another straight Telugu release Sita Ramam.

Sita Ramam, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, also marks the Telugu debut of actress Mrunal Thakur and will release in multiple languages on August 5. The film’s teaser was launched at AMB Cinemas, Hyderabad earlier today, in the presence of the actor, director and the producer Swapna Dutt. Here’s what Dulquer had to say to his Telugu fans.

“Sita Ramam has been a memorable and a challenging film to make. The film has amazing locations and I got to see so many parts of India that I’ve never been to before. This was all because of the support of Swapna (Dutt), my producer and director Hanu Raghavapudi,” the star said while addressing the crowd in multiple languages.

Talking about the film’s technical team, Dulquer further added, “Vishal Chandrasekhar has come up with an amazing album. Even during the shoot, I always kept asking for even the scratch tracks and I fell in love with it. Sita Ramam is visually spectacular and has got a great storyline. It has great dialogues and I’m dubbing in all the languages.”

“Please catch the film as soon as it releases. The teaser is just the beginning of many more good things to come,” he signed off. Rashmika, Sumanth, Prakash Raj, Gautham Menon and others too play important roles in this war-romance cinematographed by PS Vinod and Shreyaas Krishna. Sita Ramam is edited by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao and produced under Swapna Cinema.
