Dulquer Salmaan has a busy month ahead of him. With the theatrical release of Kurup set for November 12 and his projects with Soubin Shahir and Hanu Raghavapudi at different stages of production, the actor will be shuttling between commitments.

While we hear that the Malayalam superstar has wrapped up his portions for R Balki’s Bollywood thriller Chup, which also has Sunny Deol and Pooja Bhatt, he will soon be joining Soubin Shahir’s Othiram Kadakam in Pondicherry.

Dulquer also has two more schedules of Hanu Raghavapudi’s period romantic-drama pending. On the film’s status, Hanu tells OTTplay, “We are currently working out the logistics for the film’s next schedule in Russia. We still don’t have the dates but we are planning to shoot soon. Dulquer, Mrunal and Rashmika will be part of the Russia schedule. After that we will have the final schedule of the film set in Hyderabad.”

The movie has Dulquer playing the role of Lieutenant Ram and is set in 1964. The team had earlier shot for the movie in Kashmir and Hyderabad. In an earlier interview with us, Hanu talked about his experience of working with the Malayalam star. “Dulquer just lived in the role of Lieutenant Ram. I don’t think there’s another actor we can imagine playing that role now. I am sure when the audience watches the film in theatres, they would feel the same way we did while shooting the film,” he said.

The movie, which will mark Dulquer’s second straight Telugu movie after Mahanati, will also be released in Tamil and Malayalam.
