The actor is set to wrap up the shoot of R Balki’s Chup, which also has Sunny Deol and Pooja Bhatt
Dulquer Salmaan’s projects outside the Malayalam film industry has been keeping him busy off late. The actor, whose previous Malayalam film was his own production Salute, has been shooting for his Telugu period romance directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and most recently, R Balki’s Bollywood thriller Chup.
We now hear that he is all set to wrap the shoot of his Bollywood film, which also has Sunny Deol, Pooja Bhatt and Shreya Dhanwanthary, in Mumbai. He will next complete a schedule of Hanu’s Telugu movie, which also has Mrunal Thakur and Rashmika Mandanna. We hear that the makers of the Telugu period romance are set for a schedule abroad.
After this, Dulquer is set to join Soubin Shahir’s second directorial Othiram Kadakam in Pondicherry. The movie will mark the second time Soubin is directing Dulquer after his debut film Parava, which had the young superstar in a cameo.
Dulquer in a social media post earlier this year had said that he knows in Soubin’s “hands I will discover characters and nuances I’ve never done before,” while announcing the movie and also revealing the look of his character.
The superstar also has quite a few exciting projects lined up including Abhilash Joshiy’s King of Kotha, which is rumoured to go on floors next year. On the movie, the filmmaker had said that it will be “a gangster film based on the events that happen in a town called Kotha. It’s not a typical ‘mass’ film; it has equal importance to emotions, romance and songs as much as action”.
Dulquer’s upcoming releases include Srinath Rajendran’s Kurup, Rosshan Andrrews’ Salute and choreographer Brinda’s Hey Sinamika.
