Dulquer Salmaan to team up with RDX director Nahas Hidhayath for his next? Here’s what we know

Dulquer Salmaan has established himself as a leading pan-Indian star with back-to-back notable projects in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi film industries. However, Malayalam audiences are eagerly waiting for the actor to announce his next outing in his home industry and are not so happy with him concentrating on other languages. As per the reports, Dulquer Salmaan is now all set to announce his next outing in Malayalam, which is expected to be helmed by RDX director Nahas Hidhayath.

Dulquer Salmaan to team up with RDX director Nahas Hidhayath?

If the recent reports are to be believed, Dulquer Salmaan is planning to join hands with Nahas Hidhayath, the young filmmaker who helmed the 2023-released Malayalam blockbuster RDX, for his next outing in Malayalam. The grapevine suggests that the talented filmmaker recently narrated a subject to the Sita Ramam actor, and he immediately loved it. Nahas Hidhayath is now reportedly working on the script of the untitled film, which is expected to go on floors by the end of 2024.

The duo is planning to officially announce the film, only after the script is locked. The grapevine also suggests that the project will be bankrolled by Dulquer Salmaan himself, under his home banner Wayfarer Films. The rumourmills also suggest that Nahas Hidhayath will resume his other upcoming project, only after wrapping up Dulquer's film. Even though earlier it was rumoured that Prithviraj Sukumaran is teaming up with the director for the project, he denied the same in an Exclusive chat with OTTPlay.

Dulquer Salmaan’s work front

The stylish actor was last seen in King Of Kotha, the gangster thriller film which ended up as an average grosser. Dulquer Salmaan is reportedly planning to take it slow when it comes to his Malayalam cinema career and wants to be choosy with the films he picks. He is expected to reunite with actor-filmmaker Soubin Shahir for the latter’s upcoming directorial venture, which has been titled Othiram Kadakam. When it comes to the other languages, Dulquer has an exciting line-up of projects including Venky Atluri’s Lucky Baskhar, Guns And Gulaabs Season 2, and much more.
