The crime thriller film is available to stream in the languages of Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi

In a surprise announcement, streaming giant Netflix revealed that Dulquer Salmaan’s recent crime thriller, Kurup, has started streaming on its platform. The film can be streamed in the languages of Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi.
The streaming giant made the announcement on its official Instagram handle, accompanied by a post celebrating the cinematography of the film. The post included several stills from the film, which featured the characters played by Salmaan and the female lead Sobhita Dhulipala.
The caption mentioned how the film’s cinematographers used different scenes and frames to reflect different chapters in the titular criminal mastermind’s life.The post also relays how different colours of the frames were also meant to evoke particular feelings among audiences.
A few days back, Netflix had revealed that it had bagged streaming rights to the crime thriller, although the release date had not been mentioned. The movie had been released in theatres on November 12.
The film revolves around the story of one of Kerala’s most well known wanted fugitives, Sukumara Kurup. Kurup had been responsible for the murder of a man named Chacko in 1984 and was able to evade capture by the authorities till the present day.
In addition to Salmaan and Dhulipala, the film also features Indrajith Sukumaran, Shine Tom Chacko, Sunny Wayne, Bharath Srinivasan, Shivajith, Surabhi Lakshmi, Vijayaraghavan and Tovino Thomas. The film was directed by Srinath Rajendran.
