Shah Rukh Khan mania gripped the world this entire year. Dunki is the actor's third film this year. The anticipation for the movie is at its all-time high, as we are less than 2 days away from its release. The Rajkumar Hirani directorial has promised a moving ride to the audience and it seems like even they have decided to get on board. The advance bookings for the film have been open for a couple of days now and it looks like the anticipation is indeed reflecting on the same.
As per the latest report on Pinkvilla, Dunki has garnered love with advance bookings and 1.25 lakh tickets have already been sold at the top national cinema chains. While the international advance bookings are making all the news, the national is no less than a milestone for the movie, as it is going strong. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer has also adopted an interesting promotional strategy which has further aided ticket sales.
Out of 1.25 lakh tickets sold for Dunki, 1.01 lakh have been sold at PVR and Inox. The rest of the 24,000 tickets have been sold at Cinepolis. The data is up until 3 pm on December 19. What is interesting is that the movie still has a day and a half until it hits the big screen. This means that the number can go even higher. If it grows, it might find a place in the list of the highest tickets sold in top national chains for the opening day in 2023.
Shah Rukh Khan's Third Successful Film in 2023:
The said list has both Shah Rukh Khan movies this year, including Jawan and Pathaan. However, Dunki will not be able to beat the two on this list, as per the estimations. Shah Rukh Khan has had a glorious year with these films in 2023. He returned to the big screen with Pathaan after a five-year hiatus and has reigned it yet again, proving that he is the unbeatable king no matter what.
Dunki's Clash With Salaar:
Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, stars Shah Rukh Khan alongside Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover. The film is written by Hirani with Kanika Dhillon and Abhijat Joshi.
