While the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Dunki has managed to pocket Rs 400 crore worldwide, it has now surpassed the Rs 200-crore mark in India!

The year 2023 rightly belonged to the one and only Shah Rukh Khan. He started off the year with the film ‘Pathaan’, which went on to set the box office on fire. This was followed by ‘Jawan’, which again, created history at the box office... not just in India, but globally as well.
Dunki crosses Rs 200 crore at the box office in India
The King Khan, then, had his third film release Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani. Even though the film did not match up to the box office collections of his previous two films (Pathaan and Jawan) immediately after its release, the film is definitely making progress at the box office. The latest update about the film is that it has now crossed Rs 200 crore at the box office in India, as per Sacnilk.

Dunki pockets a cool Rs 409.89 crore worldwide
The official social media handle of Red Chillies posted an awesome post with the caption “Just another day of us celebrating your endless love for Dunki! Book your tickets right away! Watch #Dunki - In Cinemas Now!”. They had posted a photograph of a still from the film ‘Dunki’, which has Shah Rukh Khan in yet another pose of a die hard romantic! The poster said ‘On a journey of spreading happiness’ along with the figure of Rs 409.89 crore, which is the worldwide collections of the film.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki versus Prabhas’ Salaar
Dunki has been facing competition from the Prabhas-starrer Salaar, which is seemingly unstoppable at the box office. SRK’s Dunki was released on December 21, while Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel, was released on December 22. Besides Shah Rukh Khan, Dunki also stars Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Vikram Kochhar, Anil Grover and Vicky Kaushal.
Dunki’s surprise package?
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal is garnering praise for his performance in Dunki, despite only having a cameo appearance in the film. In one of the episodes of Koffee With Karan, Karan Johar informed Vicky Kaushal that Shah Rukh Khan had told him that Vicky was outstanding in the film and had delivered the performance of a lifetime in Dunki.
