On Monday evening, Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Rajkumar Hirani, and the team of Dunki dropped a 30-minute-long video on YouTube, which centered around the making of the film. The core cast and crew of the film discussed in depth how they felt during the shoot of the film and all the challenges they faced. During the fun-filled conversation, Shah Rukh Khan elaborated on how he felt while working with Vicky Kaushal on the set of the film.
Shah Rukh Khan feels Vicky Kaushal is his ‘nimbu brother’
During the conversation, Shah Rukh Khan expressed why he feels Vicky Kaushal is his ‘nimbu (lemon)-brother’.
Recalling a scene from the film, Shah Rukh Khan smilingly expressed, “In a classroom scene, I have become a nimbu-brother of Vicky Kaushal. People are related to each other by blood. I am related to Vicky Kaushal by a lemon. Vicky and I are fond of each other’s works. On one of the shoot days, he (Vicky) even funnily remarked that he married Katrina Kaif quite early in his life. He said that if he was not married, he would have been married to me. We share such deep love for each other.”
Taapsee then funnily remarked that this is not a triangular love story. With this statement, she hinted that Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal and she herself are in love with Shah Rukh Khan.
Rajkumar Hirani smiled in response to their statements. Later, the filmmaker expressed that he felt Shah Rukh Khan and Vicky Kaushal were in an inebriated state during the shoot of the classroom scene. “In the classroom scene, aapne (SRK) ne nimbu nikla aur chaata, aur phir usi nimbu ko Vicky ne chaata hai,” Rajkumar Hirani said.
Shah Rukh Khan then wrapped up the conversation by joking that he and Vicky continue to meet each other weekly and lick lemons.
Dunki is slated to be released on December 21 across theatres in India and abroad.
