Dunki Drop 2 is here, and it's the first song from the film. Titled Lutt Putt Gaya, it's a romantic track featuring the lead actors Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu. The video demonstrates how Hardy (SRK) can't help but fall in love with Manu (Taapsee) when she stands up for him against the world. The song is about his crush on the girl, turning him into a mushy romantic.
Taapsee takes Shah Rukh's hand as they walk out of their coaching class in the video. As he imagines dancing his heart out and falling in love with this strong girl, the song also depicts their bond improving, and he can't help but gush over her as they wrestle in an akhada and he stares at her. The video beautifully ends with Taapsee's character asking him to stop staring at her and saying he can do it once they get their visas approved.

The creative team behind the song
Pritam composed the melodic score, while Swanand Kirkire and IP Singh wrote the lyrics. The lyrics come to life through Arijit Singh's mesmerising voice, producing a symphony that captures the story's romantic spirit. Ganesh Acharya applies his skills to the dance scenes, making it a visual extravaganza that perfectly matches the story's emotional depth.
Dunki has an all-star cast, including Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal, and Anil Grover, among others. Rajkumar Hirani (also the director) pens the script, along with Abhijat Joshi and Kanika Dhillon. It's an intriguing story that looks to be an in-depth examination of human connection through the lens of friendship, borders, nostalgia, and the universal language of love.
Dunki is looking to end the year with a bang, as it will be hitting the big screen on December 21, 2023.
