Dunki: Rajkumar Hirani, Shah Rukh Khan, and co. head to Punjab & Dubai for next big schedule

The shooting of Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani's maiden collaboration Dunki is in full swing at the moment. The team is said to have already wrapped up a crucial portion of the film in the London and Budapest schedule, having begun the production in Mumbai earlier this year. Now, as per the latest reports, the remainder of the film will be wrapped up in Mumbai, Punjab, and Dubai.

Yes, as revealed by Pinkvilla, a source close to the team of Dunki shares that director Hirani is currently engrossed in prepping for the upcoming schedule and has simultaneously begun the post-production work of the film. The exact logistics of the upcoming shooting phase are yet to be finalized, the source adds.

The recently concluded international shooting schedule of Dunki saw the team head to London from Mumbai and later shoot in the Hungarian city of Budapest, before returning to the Bollywood city. A majority of the film is said to have been already shot with the upcoming schedule set to see things to closure.

Dunki also stars Taapsee Pannu who will share the screen space with King Khan for the first time in her career. The Dobaaraa actress has spoken highly of her co-star in previous interviews and shared that she has a place likeness for SRK as they both hail from the city of New Delhi. This is her first collaboration with the PK and Sanju director. 

Shah Rukh Khan, on the other hand, is making up for all the lost time and how! His most recent theatrical release might have come three years ago but 2023 will prove to be a blockbuster year for the superstar with not one but three mega releases in store. Along with Dunki, Khan has Sidharth Anand's Pathan wherein he costars Deepika Padukone, and is expected to start shooting for Tamil director Atlee's Jawan at the earliest. 

Shah Rukh Khan will be starring alongside Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and others in Jawan whose title teaser was released a few weeks ago amid tremendous fanfare.
