Duranga 2 trailer: Drashti Dhami, Gulshan Devaiah and Amit Sadh's mysterious world leaves us wanting for more

Duranga turned out to be a surprise hit when it was released on ZEE5. Starring Drashti Dhami and Gulshan Devaiah in the lead roles, the web show was the Indian adaptation of the Korean drama Flower Of Evil. After the success of the first part, the makers of Duranga are back with season 2. The trailer of Duranga 2 was dropped on social media a while ago.

The second season of this series seems way more mysterious than the earlier part. Amit Sadh joins the star cast of Duranga 2 and adds more meat to the storyline.

The trailer begins with Sammit (Gulshan) telling Ira (Drashti) that he has a past that he wants her to know about. Later on, glimpses of Sammit's past are revealed and that's exactly when the story takes a 180-degree turn. Overall, the trailer of Duranga 2 manages to keep you intrigued. It left us wanting for more.

Sharing the trailer on Instagram, ZEE5 penned, "Enter the dark world of mysteries once again! Dive into the world of Duranga season 2, premieres 24th Oct only on ZEE5 (sic)."

Duranga 2 release date

Today, the makers of Duranga 2 also revealed the release date of the series. It is all set to arrive on October 24, on ZEE5. For the second season, Drashti performed all the action stunts on her own. Despite having a body double on set, the actress chose to pull off those shots herself.

About the series

The first season of the show was helmed by Pradeep Sarkar and Aijaz Khan. Duranga premiered on the aforementioned streaming platform on August 19, 2022. More than a year later, the makers are back with its second part.
