Durnibar Saha opens up: Mohor and I are in love and that is more powerful than social media hatred | Exclusive

Musician Durnibar Saha and Prosenjit Chatterjee’s manager Oindrila Sen, aka Mohor, opened up to OTTplay for the first time after facing online trolls on social media. The duo tied the knot on March 9 at a Kolkata-based hotel. Several members from the Bengali film and music industry, along with their friends and family members, were seen blessing them on the day. In fact, people who did not attend also blessed them on social media. 

However, it was not just the blessings that Mohor and Durnibar gathered on the day of their marriage. A storm of online trolls brutally maligned the duo, especially Durnibar, for marrying for the second time. The trolls scathingly attacked them on Sujoy Prosad Chatterjee’s photo with them. In fact, similar attacks took place on Kaushik Ganguly’s post of the duo.

Hours after the attack, Durnibar opened up to OTTplay and said that their love for each other is more powerful than the hatred that is being spread. “Mohor and I are very much in love with each other. In the future also, the haters will see our life together on social media. What we faced is really very difficult for a couple but we are trying to deal with it as maturely as possible,” he said. 

Will they take any legal action? “Mohor and I will discuss and will take a call. I have identified a few posts that crossed the limit of all decency. We will talk and see if we can file a complaint,” Durnibar said. 

Meanwhile, an upset Mohor said, “This is not the first time someone is marrying twice. We did not do anything unlawful. Durnibar’s divorce is as legal as our marriage.” Both of them admitted that they have received a lot more love than hatred. “Mohor and I are in love and that is more powerful than the hatred,” said Durnibar.
