The film revolves around an antique box purchased by the actress after which she starts experiencing some paranormal activities. The film will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 29. The actor Hashmi too had posted about the film on Instagram. He shared the teaser and wrote: "Verified

Directed by Jay Krishnan, the film is a remake of the 2017 Malayalam film Ezra, which starred Prithviraj and Tovino Thomas in lead roles. The film was well-received by the audience and critics alike for its extensive paranormal research and visuals and its extraordinary storyline.
The Hindi remake of the film was confirmed in 2019. It will be produced by T-Series and Panorama Studios and will be shot mainly in Mumbai and Mauritius. The film also stars Nikita Dutta, Darshana Banik, Pranay Ranjan, Manav Kaul and Yuri Suri.
