Eagle’s second single Gallanthe is a foot-tapping romance number with an exuberant Ravi Teja

Ravi Teja, who recently commenced filming for Mr Bachchan, the Telugu remake of Ajay Devgn’s Hindi blockbuster Raid, is going all out to promote his Sankranthi release Eagle. The film, co-written, edited, directed, partly cinematographed by Karthik Gattamneni, has two female leads - Anupama Parameswaran and Kavya Thapar. People Media Factory bankrolls the film.

After receiving encouraging responses for the massy Aadu Macha, the second single from the film - a breezy duet Gallanthe, was launched today at a private engineering college in Hyderabad. Kapil Kapilan and Lynn have crooned the number which has lyrics by Krishna Kanth (who recently worked on Salaar as well). Davzand is the composer for the action drama.

The opening lines, ‘Gallanthe..Gallanthe..Dillantha Gallanthe Ainade.. Gallanthe..Gallanthe Nee Kalle Gallanthe Chesene’ establish how Ravi Teja is smitten by Kavya. While sustaining its breezy vibe, Gallanthe is equally foot-tapping with the ‘Mass Maharaja’ proving his worth as a dancer with his stylish moves, choreographed by Vijay (Master).

Shot amidst eye-catchy foreign locales, Lynn’s husky rendition adds a new texture to the song. Gallanthe is a commendable effort from the composer, given it doesn’t compromise on its feel-good musical quality and also has a catchy musical hook for those seeking instant gratification. Ravi Teja and Kavya Thapar’s on-screen chemistry complements the holistic appeal of Gallanthe too.

Eagle has a huge star cast comprising names like Navdeep, Srinivas Avasarala, Madhoo, Praneeta Patnaik, Ajay Ghosh, Srinivas Reddy, Bhasha, Siva Narayana, Mirchi Kiran, Nitin Mehta, Dhruva, Edward, Maddy, Zara and Akshara. Manibabu Karanam, who has also written the dialogues, has teamed up with Karthik Gattamneni for the script. The actioner releases on January 13, 2024.
