Edukka Kaashayi song from Tovino Thomas’ Minnal Murali is fast and fun

Basil Joseph’s superhero movie Minnal Murali is heading full speed ahead towards its global release on Netflix. The makers of the Minnal Murali have now released a new song from the movie. 

Titled as Edukka Kaashayi, the song is a high-octane, fast paced and fun number. Though only a lyrical video, the song follows the style of other songs from the movie with its comic strip style. 

The pictures accompanying the song also features Tovino along with the young boy seen in the movie’s trailer. The boy seems to be the protagonist's friend and an expert on superheroes, as he helps Jason explore his new found powers.

The song is composed by Shaan Rahman, who is the music director for the movie and is written by Manu Manjith. Swetha Ashok has sung the song, and her voice gives the speaker busting power for the song. 

Minnal Murali is a superhero movie that will hopefully be given the full Basil Joseph treatment, and stars Tovino Thomas in the lead role as an every day villager who finds new powers after being hit by lightning. 

The movie, which was picked up by Netflix, also features Femina George, Aju Varghese, Baiju Santosh and Mammukkoya as part of the cast. 

Minnal Murali will get its world premiere at MAMI on December 16, where the movie will be screened. The movie will be released on Netflix on December 24 in over 200 countries.
